It'll be several years before it takes over his lawn. I'll cross that bridge when we get there.

We zoysia'd our lawn, and yeah, it does look like b-hole for several months a year. I don't see it spreading that much though, it was probably 5-6 years ago, and our backyard still has wild areas in it. It's probably expanded about a foot from where it started.
Maybe tell him to plan them a few feet shy of the property line?
